Zip Frame Bag M MKIII is a practical 3.7 L frame bag for bikepacking, longer rides and everyday cycling. It makes use of the space inside the frame triangle and provides room for tools, spare parts, food, electronics, lightweight clothing and other gear.

Compared with the larger L version, it is shorter and better suited to smaller frames or setups where you want to keep more free space inside the frame triangle. The main material is lightweight and durable Nylon Robic with a PU coating rated to 1,500 mm H₂O. A padded perimeter helps the bag maintain its shape, while a long water-resistant YKK zipper with two sliders provides easy access to the contents.

3.7 litres in a more compact format

The 3.7 L capacity provides enough room for gear on a full-day ride or multi-day bikepacking trip while taking up less space than the larger Zip Frame Bag L.

With a maximum length of 40 cm, it is easier to fit on smaller frames and may leave more room for a bottle cage. Before ordering, we recommend comparing the bag dimensions with your specific frame.

Long YKK zipper with two sliders

The main compartment is accessed through a long water-resistant YKK zipper with two sliders. This allows you to open only the section of the bag where the item you need is stored.

The zipper pullers and garages are made from Hypalon, providing good durability and easy grip even while wearing gloves.

Padded perimeter helps the bag hold its shape

The perimeter of the bag is padded with foam, helping it maintain its shape and reducing direct pressure from the contents against the bike frame.

The padding also provides partial protection against vibration and movement while riding, which is useful when carrying tools, electronics or other solid items.

Organised interior

The long opening provides good access to the main compartment and makes packing and finding gear easier. A bright-coloured inner lining improves visibility, while an internal mesh section helps separate smaller items.

Compact tools, cables, energy gels and other small items therefore do not have to move freely among the rest of your gear.

7 Velcro straps for different frame geometries

The bag attaches to the frame using 7 Velcro straps. They are supplied in a longer length, allowing you to first adjust them to your specific frame and then trim any excess if necessary.

The front section also features a polypropylene strap with a Duraflex buckle. Before trimming the Velcro straps, we recommend loading the bag, positioning it correctly on the bike and checking the required strap length.

Hydration hose port

A hydration hose port is positioned at the front of the bag beneath the top tube. If you carry a compatible hydration bladder inside, the hose can be routed outside without leaving the main zipper partly open.

This makes it possible to use the frame triangle for part of your water supply on longer routes.

Reinforced seams for long-term use

High-stress attachment points are reinforced with Bartack stitching. Thicker polyester threads are used to improve seam strength in areas exposed to repeated load and vibration.

Water-repellent, not waterproof

Nylon Robic with a PU coating rated to 1,500 mm H₂O and the water-resistant YKK zipper help protect the contents from light rain, splashing water and dirt.

The bag is not fully waterproof. During prolonged or heavy rain, we recommend protecting electronics, clothing and other moisture-sensitive gear in a separate waterproof pouch.

Zip Frame Bag M or L?

Zip Frame Bag M MKIII offers a capacity of 3.7 L, weighs 190 g and measures up to 40 cm in length. It is suitable for smaller frames or riders who prefer a more compact frame bag.

If you have more space inside the frame and want maximum storage capacity, the Zip Frame Bag L MKIII offers 4.5 L, weighs 210 g and measures up to 48 cm in length.
