Barrel MKIII is a compact 2 L handlebar bag for items you want to keep within easy reach while riding. Your phone, wallet, keys, snacks, lightweight jacket or bottle no longer need to be buried deep inside your other bikepacking bags.

The cylindrical shape provides practical storage space, while the long water-resistant YKK zipper with two sliders gives you easy access to the main compartment. Inside, you will find four smaller pockets, a key loop and a bright lining that makes it easier to see the contents of the bag.

The 2 L capacity provides enough room for everyday essentials as well as food for the ride. Depending on the gear you carry, the bag can hold a lightweight jacket, a one-litre bottle or a compact cooking set.

Well-organised main compartment

Inside the Barrel, there are four smaller organiser pockets - two mesh pockets and two solid pockets. They help separate small items from the main load and keep keys, electronics, tools or snacks in place.

The interior also features a bright-coloured lining, making small items easier to spot. A dedicated internal loop provides a more secure place for your keys.

Wide access through the YKK zipper

The long water-resistant YKK zipper with two sliders allows a large part of the main compartment to be opened, making it easy to reach items stored deeper inside the bag.

The side ends of the opening can also be released from the buckles. This opens the compartment even further and makes it easier to insert bulkier items.

Stable attachment to the handlebars

Barrel MKIII attaches to the handlebars using Hypalon hook-and-loop straps. An additional strap runs around the head tube to help reduce unwanted movement while riding.

The construction is reinforced with an HDPE panel, helping the bag maintain its shape and providing firmer support at the handlebar attachment area.

Before every ride, make sure the bag does not interfere with the brake or shift levers and does not place excessive pressure on cables or hydraulic hoses.

Durable Nylon Robic and protection against light rain

The main material is lightweight and durable Nylon Robic with a PU coating. Combined with the water-resistant YKK zipper, it helps protect the contents from light rain, splashing water and dirt.

Barrel MKIII is not designed as a fully waterproof drybag. During prolonged or heavy rain, we recommend protecting electronics and other moisture-sensitive equipment in a separate waterproof pouch.

Attach extra gear on the outside

A webbing chain on the front of the bag can be used to attach a light, glasses or other lightweight equipment.

From handlebar bag to small shoulder bag

Barrel also comes with a removable shoulder strap. Once removed from the handlebars, the bag can be taken with you into a shop, restaurant or accommodation, so you do not need to leave your phone, wallet or other valuables on the bike.

The shoulder strap attaches to the side buckles, allowing you to turn the Barrel from a handlebar bag into a compact shoulder bag in seconds.
